The existing 14u bat rules will not change for Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma.14u teams will be allowed to swing a -5 bat in USSSA events.

The only exception will be for 14 Major events held in Missouri or Kansas. Those 14u Major divisions will required players to use a BBCOR bat.

Some parts of the country have a BBCOR only rule for all 14u teams. With the Midwest having several classes of play, not all the 14u players will be successful swinging a BBCOR bat.

We want every USSSA player in the Midwest to be able to compete, enjoy and excel at playing the game of baseball.
