The 2024 Quakes Classic will be the first tournament we host at the new Elkhorn Athletic Association Sports Complex in Valley. We’re excited to finally play some games on the new fields, but the facility remains a work in progress and is not yet completed.  Please review these details so you are prepared.

Warmup Space
We have limited space to warmup prior to your games. Much of the new grass has not filled in yet between fields where teams would normally warmup. With the recent rainfall, those dirt areas are likely to be muddy, so you will want to avoid them. The alternative is to fit in the remaining spaces and make the best of it. We can fit 3 teams in the outfield of the baseball field which is #4. We have 4 batting cages for teams to share and we have the “barrier free” all sport field. This field has a painted concrete surface and only tennis shoes will be allowed. No cleats can be worn on this field. Please make sure your players bring tennis shoes to wear in case you warmup on this field. We don’t anticipate that the nearby soccer fields will be available for warmups, so please avoid them unless advised otherwise.

Game Fields
We have 3 fields in Valley that will be used for our games this weekend. The fields were built to be used for both baseball and softball, so they have a larger dirt surface and large outfields. We will not have temporary fences installed for this tournament.

Parking
We have a sizable paved parking lot right next to the softball fields and two other lots next to the soccer fields to the west.

Restrooms
The only restrooms available for the time being are “port-a-potties” as the permanent bathroom facilities have not been built yet.  We will try very hard to keep them clean.

Seating
Parents need to please bring a chair to sit in as Valley’s bleachers have not arrived yet.

Concessions
We are planning to have some basic concessions available for purchase and will accept cash only.

12B Teams ONLY
The games for the 12B division teams will be split between the Elkhorn Athletic Association Sports Complex in Valley and Ta-Ha-Zouka field in Elkhorn. Fri/Sun games are in Valley and Sat games are at Ta-Ha-Zouka or Valley. Please refer to the game schedule for details.
